Distrito Modern Mexican
is restaurant located in old town Scottsdale inside The Saguaro hotel.  This restaurant has easy-going atmosphere with a colorful funky Mexican decor. It offers large comfortable booths that you won't feel squished in and patio dinning for those cooler nights.  Distrito's website describes the food as,  "diverse street food of Mexico City".  If the food is this good in Mexico City then count me in on a vacation there.  The food is served in tapas style so, plan on ordering a few different dishes and sharing.  The server recommended two or three Entradas per person.  We did not find that to be the case. I recommend ordering less to start.  There were six of us, five of those six being grown men.   We found that one share dish per person plus the chips and salsa as a starter was more than enough food for us.  We each left full.  Plus you can always order more if what you start with is not filling enough.  Be prepared for the food to come out as it is ready and that will more than likely be at different times.  Basically don't be uptight and have some fun.  I find this style of service just adds to the enjoyment of taking time to talk and to try each dish on its own.
Then, again I go for the entire dinning experience.  Not just to stuff my face and run.

I will be very clear about this the Mahi-Mahi tacos are the best Mahi tacos I have ever had.

Now get out and eat!
